Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Is this really a CV?

Well, no.  It is just an overview.

People /Training / Facilitation Skills

I have developed extensive experience in the facilitation of a wide variety of groups of people, young and old, disabled, disadvantaged and disengaged people too. Sometimes related to the facilitation practice has been the delivery of training in a number of skill sets. As an experienced mentor for technical and production theatre through to as a trainer for young people and adults in skills for the design of buildings and in the development of organisations. I have achieved this in different locations throughout the country working mostly in London but also in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester and Leicester. I am endeavouring to shortly undertake a City & Guilds qualification in Facilitation/Training delivery.

Communication / Management Skills

Having managed and co-ordinated numerous projects now on local and national scales I have developed management and communication skills suitable to a wide range of environments. Establishing effective techniques for long distance and local projects where regular meetings may not be possible and where close physical team working is essential. The motivational techniques and working methodologies I have developed are adaptable to a number of situations. Testimony to this is the acceptance onto a Unique Business Management Course at Nottingham Business School for October 2008 entry.

Artistic Development & Roles

I have lived within the performing arts since before I can remember, merely seeing pictures of myself performing at the age of 3 on carnival floats. Through the years I have taken on many performing roles from choirs to the lead in numerous dramatic productions. In recent years however I slowly progressed over to the world of technical theatre before settling in on production theatre where arts management and facilitation has become my passion. In addition to the arts I have grown too in my passion for youth participation and engagement, working within the third sector very widely.
